STEPPING STONES PRE-SCHOOL
ABOUT US
We are a rural pre-school based in the idyllic grounds of Aldborough Primary School. With our garden and play area next to Class One and an interconnecting door in to the school, we can go for a ramble in the school woods, visit the school library or have a chat over the fence.
Many of the children who attend Stepping Stones do choose to move on to Aldborough Primary School, but also to other schools in the area such as Colby and Erpingham, and we pay a great deal of attention to ensuring that this transition is as smooth as possible.
MEET THE TEAM
We provide each child with their own key person because research shows that when children form secure attachments to the adults providing their care, they feel happy and secure and have the confidence to explore and learn.
The committee members are the charity trustees of the pre-school and are responsible for the overall management and smooth running of the setting. This can mean anything from organising a summer fundraising event to conducting a job interview. There are lots of ways you can contribute to the committee, and we'll be happy to chat about this further with you.

OUR SESSIONS
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and our dedicated and enthusiastic team put the child at the centre of everything we plan.
Our doors are always open so the children can get outside to investigate the sand, water, mud-kitchen and open-ended resources at any time of the day, all year round.
We go to our lovely garden daily to ride on the bikes, play on the climbing frame and check on our raised beds and wildlife area. Inside, we provide thought-provoking and varied activities based on the children's interests, to invite play and exploration and extend the children's learning.
We enjoy visits from the mobile library, the Norfolk Children's Book Centre, Yoga Folk, National Trust's Sheringham Park Outdoor Learning Team and many more.....
Morning sessions run from 9.00am* - 12.45pm (please provide a packed lunch)
Afternoon sessions run from 12.45pm - 4.30pm.
All day session 9.00am* - 4.30pm
*On request we offer 8.45am drop off
Children can start with us on their 2nd birthday
